Hey guys,

Just wondering if there are any solid warrior builds to farm Icy Dragon Swords, since the AI update?

I've never really farmed much because I've never had any need for a lot of coin. Now though I'm gunning for mini-pets and the super rare one's are the only ones I need.

Someone told me that Dead Swords are the best things to farm currently at 100k a pop.

What's the best non-Nightfall farms since the update?

I saw a good one a while back, cant remember the link. it was something like:

Stoneflesh Aura
Glyph of Concentration
Warriors Endurance
Doylak Signet
Heal Sig

And you used heroes to get there, then sent them to die out of range.

There are ways to solo ids's w/mo, i got mine this way. but the person who i learned it from doesnt want it to get out sry

. but it is completely solo, and non hench. also theres always the r/me ids solo, but you will get destroyed by trolls if they spawn by the imps.
As for non nf warrior farms, i do plenty. some of my most profititable ones are the w/rt uw smite run solo, and the w/me fow spider solo. I also like to solo farm greens such as sskai, rits construct, strongroot, geoffer, reefclaw, and jacqui.

I'd check wiki for a build. But once again I feel there are better farming spots so I don't really know. Sorry.

I have one but its not easy and IDS are not def anymore

use to be at least 1-2 each run.

ok build:
Weapon - Fiery Dragon Sword/fiery upgraded sword +7 v ele
Shield - carapace +60 while hexed and + 45 while stance ffound outside Camp Rankor
Armour - I use glads for energy for run there then swap to ascalon. (friend use to live up there used the Knights helm with hexs last ? less longer and only one piece of asclon rest glads)

Skills -
Desperation Blow/Drunken Blow: Useful because of all different options of conditions.
Galarath Slash: Heavy Damage
Dolyak Signet: Prevent Desperation/Drunken from kding + armour
Elemental Resistance: *MAIN SKILL* provides serious help in tanking multiple packs of imps
Healing Signet: Healing obviously

Sprint: To get you there
Endure Pain: can be swapped but is helpful with tricky bits in run.

Note: I have friends so i have ran this dual, less chance of drop but more succesion rate as main place to fail is run for me

If dualing this Charge instead of sprint is much better as its constant 25% if you get tactics high enough

This Build has been posted before somewhere when IDS was recently released. I am unsure of the poster and unsure of the build but that is the rough background im sure you can build on it. Good Luck

I farm IDS using VWK. Run there, pull the imps and stand back and let them wand you. Also using like

sprint
dolyak sig
2 more rit skills i cant remember because im not much of a ritualist =) one is the one that increases your hp then when dropped gives a nice heal and the other one is something like 50% block +hp regen
watch yourself
bonnettis (i think)

something like that. Too late atm to check the actual build.
Most important skills are of course VwK and sprint or something else to get there with and something to heal yourself/buff armor when VwK is down.

The good thing with the build is that if you die when pulling the imps and get some DP you can still manage the run without any bigger problems.

Do you have sentinals? If you do you should have: 80 base armour + 20vs elemental, 20 from defy, and ~30 from doylak. Making about ~150 vs elemental. also with her shield and sword together you also get an extra 17.

Hmm, im using dragons, which has dreadnoughts, and i didnt think the 10 would make too much difference.

Avoid them. If there is an Avicara spawn in front of the cave, try to run past them.

can you edit your quote of me? i'mm seeing double! :-) Also like Arkantos said "you be surprised". with 13 str it helps w/ Dolyaks to. A good place to pactrace is out side of "ice cave of sorrow" mission. then try Grotto. As for the run up to the cave. Priceless.

@ Livingston
for the Avicara near the cave.. if its a 2 man run. 1 dude just lures as 1 runs by. If you solo. hum... ya just resign or try to run past if you can.

Thanks for the advice. I went and got the armor. And thanks for the practice spot. Im gonna go try it now.

EDIT: Is it just me or is this hard as hell. I can barely deal with 6 imps at a time.

hehehe keep trying. soon your be teaching others how to farm IDS (well if you choose to) don't forget at the IDS cave there's trolls and Ice Golems and a waste of time if you run up and don't get past the first few imps
